Our History

Our history begins with the formation of Shriver Telephone Company back in 1952 by Jonas Howard Shriver.  Duvall was in need of a telecommunication system and Jonas Shriver had the capital and vision to start this enterprise.

The Shriver family has been an integral part of the town since 1949, when they became Duvall citizens. Jonas needed a place to retire from the busy life of a high-powered business man in New York and decided to move to the rural town and start a small family business. Ever since that vision of a small town business with a big town standard, Duvall Wireless has been the number one telecommunications company in the lower half of Texas.

In 1998,  Eric Daniel Shriver became the CEO of Duvall Wireless. Since his takeover, Duvall Wireless has expanded its operations and has increased jobs for the citizens of Duvall.
